This painting was inspired by a hike in Arizona’s Superstition Mountains*. This was my very first hike after moving to Phoenix, and I was in awe of all the color and texture found in the desert.

If you’re looking for an affordable framing option, I recommend framing these in a standard frame without the glass. You can use an acid-free glue or strong double-sided tape to adhere the material to the frame backer to prevent buckling or sagging over time. For a more high-end display option, you can have the canvas stretched at your local custom frame shop.
10% of all art print profits are donated to organizations focused on environmental justice, education and advocacy. Currently supporting: Beyond Toxics.
